Quick Start

Get the UserBoost AI chatbot on your website in under 5 minutes

Add an AI-powered chatbot to your website with a single line of code.

1. Create an account

Sign up at userboost.ai and start your free 30-day trial. No credit card required.

2. Add your domain

After logging in, go to Domains and click Add Domain. Enter your website's hostname (e.g. example.com).

3. Install the widget

Copy your embed code from the domain overview page and paste it into your website's HTML, just before the closing </body> tag:

Replace YOUR_DOMAIN_ID with the ID shown in your dashboard.

💡

The widget loads asynchronously and won't slow down your page.

4. Train the AI

The chatbot automatically crawls your website to learn about your content. You can also:

  • Upload files — PDF and DOCX documents
  • Add text snippets — manual Q&A pairs or product information
  • Configure instructions — tell the AI how to behave (tone, topics to avoid, etc.)

Go to Config → AI Instructions to customize the chatbot's behavior.

5. Customize the widget

In Config → Widget Settings, you can:

  • Change the primary color to match your brand
  • Set a custom greeting message
  • Add predefined questions as conversation starters
  • Enable the contact form for lead capture
  • Enable live chat for human handoff
